 a gesture of heartfelt gratitude towards the teacher trainees of Government College of Teacher Education, the officials from Anandanilayam visited our college and presented sweets to express their appreciation. This warm gesture was in recognition of the sincere service rendered by the teacher trainees, who had been teaching their children on weekends without charging any fees. Their visit reflected the deep respect and thankfulness they felt for the trainees.

World Consumer Rights day is observed on March15 wchich aims to global awareness about consumer rights, protection,empowerment . In GCTE(Government College of Teacher Education, Thycaud the celebration was held on 24th March, 2026 at 9:20 AM by the commerce association which raised awareness among the teacher educators about the consumer rights, law and grievance readdrassal mechanisms.

Inter-coollegiate cricket tournament was organised in our college GCTE on 24th March, 2026 in which our college team won the match
